You know, I really like Wikipedia. But there exists a flaw inherent to its design. That flaw becomes quite apparent when you're trying to read an article on the same-sex marriage law in Spain and you get a screen full of penis. So not what I wanted to see this morning.
Blast! Wrong again!
Of course the worst part of it all is revealed here at the Veronica Mars TV.com page.
Next episode: May 1st.
Say it isn’t so! :(
Just got done watching the 79th Academy Awards. A few comments.
First a foremost, "Go Ellen!" Billy Crystal's shoes will be forever hard to fill, but I think she did a great job. Of course, I am a bit biased.
So, The Departed won best film, director, and a slew of other awards. OK. I’ve seen The Departed. It was good. I would dare say that it was very good. Martin Scorcese is a genius. But was it really Academy Award winning material? Seriously folks. This is my biggest complaint about the Oscars. Not a year goes by where they don’t give out an award for their collective career rather than for the film at hand. Arg! Like I said, Scorcese is a genius and definitely deserves an Oscar, but that should have happened long ago. I wonder if he’s going to look at that Oscar and say, “I got that for The Departed and it was well deserved.” It’d be like Michelangelo getting snubbed for the Sistine Chapter and David, only to later win some contrived art award for some random sketch he did.
“Best Performance by an Actor/Actress in a Leading Role” were no-brainers. Forest Whitaker is the man.
I can’t say too much for the winners of “Best Performance by an Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role” as I haven’t seen Little Miss Sunshine or Dreamgirls. But I find Jennifer Hudson (of American Idol fame) winning interesting. Now, I still stand by my original assessment that the show is merely a Karaoke show. But I think this and Carrie Underwood winning at the CMAs and Grammys has really legitimized the show in my eye. But only in the sense that the show discovers talent; it does not create them.
Finally, how did Pan’s Labyrinth NOT win Best Foreign Film? That’s just an injustice.
OK!
I’m going to toss in my vote for Dean O’Dell’s murderer.
Mel Stoltz! The guy is a bully and gives me the grade A hee-bee jee-bees. I won’t discount the Dean’s wife being involved though. I just don’t think Landry had any major part in it though. That’s just way too easy. Y’know?
Of course I know I'm going to be wrong, just like every season of VM. They really need to give out more clues in the episodes preceding the big reveal.
One final thing. It’s good to see Keith wearing the uniform again, but Sheriff Lamb will be missed.
Sometimes I'll be talking to someone and start to think bad things about them in my mind. In these instances I try to drown the thoughts out with heavy metal music. You know, just incase they happen to be able to read minds.
